Having finished her two-and-a-half-year role in Les Miserables in February, Carrie Hope Fletcher will step away from the West End to star as Truly Scrumptious in the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang UK tour. The tour kicks off on 4 May, and Carrie will be featuring in the show from then until 2 October.
This will not be the first time she has acted in the show. In 2002, she played the part of Jemima Potts in its original cast at the London Palladium. Carrie has also starred as both Young Eponine and Eponine in Les Miserables at different times in her career.
You can see young Carrie as Jemima Potts in the photo below, pictured second from right.
Also joining the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cast are Shaun Williamson (The Railway Children, EastEnders) and Lee Mead (Casualty, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat).
