Dodie Clark appeared on CBBC’s Got What It Takes? on 13 January, judging a vlogging challenge on the talent show.
The show’s eight aspiring artists were divided into pairs, given video cameras and asked to film a short vlog, which Dodie then had to watch and decide whose video was best.
1. My grandad is taking me to a "makeup shop" as he thought id like it
2. I'll be on CBBC at 4.30pm today :"D— do(die) (@doddleoddle) January 13, 2016
Earlier in the day, she announced she would be appearing on the show, later proceeding to live-tweet throughout the episode, providing commentary and insight into the show. She later apologised to her followers for the number of tweets.

The four pairs on Got What It Takes? each had entirely different ideas about what their vlogs should be about. One made a video about self-confidence; two pairs made challenge videos dealing with make-up and accents; and the final pair did a dance-off. Initially, Dodie seemed to find it difficult to judge who of the four groups should win, but eventually managed to decide which pair would go on to perform in the episode’s final sing-off.

Dodie isn’t the only YouTuber to appear on Got What It Takes?. Fellow vlogger Carrie Hope Fletcher also appeared on the first episode of the show, on 6 January.
