KSI’s debut EP, Keep Up, was released on 8 January, and was on course for a top ten position when the midweek chart update was announced on Monday morning.
In a post on OfficialCharts.com, it was revealed that Keep Up had reached Number Six in the Official Albums Chart Update.
Its final placing, calculated from a full week’s worth of streaming and sales, will be revealed on Friday 15 January.
Keep Up was released by Island Records and rose to Number One in the iTunes charts on release day. The EP was also featured on Spotify’s homepage.
Keep Up‘s five tracks feature guest appearances from JME, Tiggs Da Author, Sway, and Randolph, and along with the EP, KSI also released music videos for his songs Smoke and Mirrors, Kilimanjaro, and title track Keep Up.
Following the release of the EP, KSI received praise from fellow YouTubers, such as Oli White, Caspar Lee and Josh Zerker:

Overall, however, reaction to the EP has been mixed, with several negative responses appearing alongside the positive ones.
