The newlyweds will be turning on the Christmas lights in Norwich City Centre on 19 November.
Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman will be doing the “big switch-on” as part of Norwich’s annual festivities to kick off the Christmas Period.
The evening will begin at 18.00 GMT with a parade led by a Santa sleigh, starting at Norwich Cathedral and ending at The Forum at Millennium Plain, where children can give Santa their Christmas lists. Children and families are encouraged to join in on the journey, which will also include carollers.
Tanya and Jim will then join Rev. Robert Avery, who will lead a prayer service around 19.00 GMT, before switching on the lights and illuminating the centre streets. A fireworks display will round off the evening.
Along with the parade, there will also be entertainment provided by local performers on the City Hall Stage, including soprano singer Emma Nuule, pantomime There’s Nothing Like a Dame by Creature Feature and acrobatics by troupe, Lost In Translation.
The event is completely free for the public to attend.
