O brother, where art thou?
Probably on YouTube these days tbh, which seems to be full of talented siblings who love to collaborate with each other. Collaborations between YouTubers are always pretty brilliant, but they’re even better between family members; be it reacting to childhood videos, testing who knows who better or delivering a musical masterpiece. To celebrate that fact, we thought we’d gather up five of our favourites to share with you!
5. YouTube Innuendo Bingo | Zoe & Joe Sugg
Possibly the most famous siblings on YouTube, there was no way we could ignore the often hilarious collaborations of Zoe and Joe Sugg. Here we find them squirting over each over playing a game of Innuendo Bingo (see what we did there?), with the pair ending up looking like they’ve just walked off a particularly choppy river rapids ride. Or a log flume. Whichever is your favourite. (Although if it’s the log flume, you’re wrong. #sorrynotsorry.)
Personally we don’t think Joe has ever looked more attractive than when spraying water out of his nose. It’s a definite look. Him and Zoe make a great team though, their chemistry together always shines through, and we’re excited for when their next collaboration hits our screen!
4. Pop Party Mashup! | Dodie & Hedy Clark
Musicality clearly runs in the Clark family, with Dodie Clark’s little sister Hedy joining her for this mashup video featuring all your favourite pop songs. Those harmonies man. Those harmonies.
Special mention for those sunglasses too, we started sporting them at TenEighty HQ following this video. (Even if we lack anyone to put them on and take them off for us as we’re jamming out. Applications are welcome.)
The two manage to be ridiculously cute, ridiculously cool and ridiculously talented together and frankly, it’s almost too much for our brains to comprehend. But not too much that we don’t want more!
3. The Sibling Test | Caspar & Theodora Lee
Do you really know your sibling? Caspar and Theodora Lee put that question to the test in this video, answering questions about each other ranging from the names of Theodora’s first boyfriend and Caspar’s daughter, to which sibling is their mother’s favourite. All while their mouths slowly fill with marshmallows.
From the start, Theodora shows her big sister tendencies and jumps in to help Caspar out, much to his dismay. You can definitely tell who’s always been in charge out of the two of them! There’s also a chihuahua impression from her which is quite something. (And for the record, we appreciated your joke Theodora. A+ work.)
We love Caspar and Theodora, and there are plenty of videos of them both of them over on YouTube for your viewing pleasure if you feel the same.
2. Love is on the Radio Hopeful Live Mix | Tom & Carrie Hope Fletcher
Musical talent definitely runs in the Fletcher family too. Here, Tom and Carrie Hope Fletcher team up to perform their own version of McFly’s Love Is On The Radio and we absolutely love it. Especially watch out for a certain line in the second verse and the faces they pull!
Tom and Carrie’s voices work seamlessly together, and we can’t stop listening to this version. We bet collaborations like this were commonplace in the Fletcher household growing up; oh to have been a fly on the wall. Can we have some more collabs like this soon please? An album maybe? We just can’t get enough. It’s becoming a problem. PLEASE JUST GIVE US MORE!
1. Twins vs Twins | Lucy & Lydia Connell and Niki & Sammy Albon
And finally, what’s better than one pair of twins? Two of course! Especially when those twins are Niki and Sammy Albon and Lucy and Lydia Connell (and Niki and Sammy, you’re not a Tesco Value JacksGap, Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference at least).
In this video, the twins battle against each other for the title of ‘Best Twins’ by means of a tour de force of different challenges. YouTube whispers, blindfolded drawing, there’s even a challenge where both pairs try to identify the same five things that come into their heads about Taylor Swift. Thankfully it doesn’t lead to them seeing red nor any sibling bad blood (sorry, we couldn’t resist), and the video is a twintastic treat from beginning to end.
So there we have it,
All the sibling fun, none of the family bust-ups. YouTube bliss. But what’s that? You want MORE lists of five videos on a theme that we think are great? Well are we the magazine for you! Why not check out:
