You go into the YouTube video shop and you say: “5 of your best, please!”
And we (the shopkeepers) say: “Of course, young rapscallion! Only the finest for you!” and hand them over to you willingly.
Then, you head outside and take a massive bite of those delicious, glazed video buns and nothing could possibly make you happier – not even Dan and Phil themselves.
(Okay, maybe we take that one back – sharing an iced bun with those two would be pretty great).
When I Grow Up – ScarfDemon
Our favourite female Gentleman Chloe Dungate has released a wonderfully empowering video this week.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Maybe you’ve already grown up, maybe you’re living your dreams! Maybe you’re not – but that’s okay because Chloe is here to tell you that you can be anything you want to be if and when you do indeed ‘grow up’.
We’re sure you were a wonderful waitress Chloe, but we bet you’d make a better dinosaur.
DON’T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS!
JUST DO IT! (or something like that.)
For Calum: The Year you Missed – theawkwardpufferfish
In a video longer than The Lord of the Rings, our very own beloved Aisling Mac tugged the life out of our heartstrings this week with her yearly round-up (see what we did there?) for her brother Calum who went to Brazil for – yep, you guessed it! A year.
In this epic saga, we not only see the evolution of Aisling and her family through the year, but we are graced with the cutest ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Welcome home’ we’ve ever seen here at TenEighty HQ.
Plus, we commend her for keeping our attention spans for over 20 minutes.
44. Who Am I? – Will Darbyshire
You’re Will Darbyshire. That’s who. (Sorry, we had to.)
In his latest offering, Will talks about personality types and the famous Myers Brigg test. In the video he discusses his results and really opens up about who he thinks, or perceives himself to be (oh, deep).
We’ve noticed in the comments section that people are also sharing their results, so you can seek some solidarity with your own results there!
We’ve checked, though – no one else’s has been “awesome”. Must just be us, then.
blue sushi in a red box – FlippyTea
Well, first off we need to say that this is all kinds of adorable.
Grace Felicity talks in her latest video about attending the shoot for Bertie Gilbert and Sammy Paul‘s upcoming film ‘Blue Sushi’.
When people talk about their passions, they really do shine – and this video is no exception to that theory. Grace talks about how the passion for film that she felt as a child has only increased throughout the years and links it nicely into the idea that YouTubers can be hugely inspirational, but they are still individual people.
We sincerely hope you catch up to your dreams, Grace. We have faith in you.
CHANGE AND DIRECTION! | Mary-Claire – MCluvs2laugh
Meme impressions, photoshopping your own lips onto your eyes and scented candles. Expect all of this and more from Mary-Claire‘s latest iced bun (remember our intro?).
The cheeky critter talks about hitting 500 subscribers, putting more effort into her videos and is just generally entertaining and light-hearted throughout. If you fancy a chuckle on this lovely evening; give her a watch.
Anybody for seconds?
Tiz White talks leaving school for good this week in her latest video. She also makes a cup of tea using a fork, which – frankly we think is equal parts heroic and concerning.
PJ Liguori has uploaded a new ‘Slurp’ this week where he answers all of your burning questions about his upcoming series: ‘Oscar’s Hotel’. We’ve covered everything you need to know about Oscar’s Hotel here on TenEighty! Why not give it a read?
So, while we’re pretty awesome, we are capable of making mistakes (please forgive us) – so if you can think of any videos we missed this week, feel free to tweet us @TenEightyUK or find us on Facebook and drop us a line at TenEightyUK.
