Jamie Oliver’s Drink Tube and Benjamin Cook’s Tofu are amongst this year’s nominees.
The shortlist for this year’s Broadcast Digital Awards has been released and features a handful of YouTubers and web content spanning various categories. Set to be hosted at The Brewery in London on 24 June, the awards will “crown the very best of innovative, interactive content”.
The nominees for Best Multiplatform Project include Benjamin Cook‘s Tofu, a 4oD companion series to Channel 4’s Cucumber and E4’s Banana, and Bite News‘ Leaders Live debates, which were organised in partnership with ITV News.
VICE News, Jamie Oliver‘s Drink Tube and BBC Radio 1’s iPlayer offerings are up for Best Original Web Content, with the latter featuring shows from many prominent YouTubers, including Dan Howell & Phil Lester.
4Music, which features Jimmy Hill as a presenter, has also been nominated for Best App or Website for Channel, Strand or Genre.
