The couple have been chosen to feature as part of a new exhibition at London’s Madame Tussauds.
Alfie Deyes and Zoe Sugg are set to be immortalised in wax and appear in the Madame Tussauds’ London museum. Zoe and Alfie announced the news via videos on their respective channels and will be the first YouTubers ever to be placed into the waxwork collection, which has locations across Australia, America, Asia and Europe.
“The reason we got this opportunity is because once you go to Madame Tussauds, as you leave you fill out a form saying who you wish was there- and for some reason, Zoe and I were the most voted people last year,” explains Alfie in his vlog.
“This is crazy, like I can’t actually quite fathom this as being a real request. I actually did think it was going to be a prank,” says Zoe. “Although I felt like I didn’t deserve it… I was also thinking, this is like one of the coolest things ever.”
The installation will reportedly feature the couple in a mock-up bedroom uploading videos. The couple have donated their own clothes to add to its authenticity.
Zoe adds: “Thank you to those that support me, and believe in me, and here’s to any other crazy amazing opportunities for YouTubers and online creators who have this overwhelmingly awesome positive influence.”
Sessions for the statues started on Monday, with plans for their release by the end of the year at the London exhibition.
