What’s better than your favourite YouTuber making a video? Your favourite YouTuber making a video with your other favourite YouTuber, of course!
Not only are collaborations a great way to introduce ourselves to new content creators, but they’re usually filled with some grade A quality content. Whether it’s comedy gold, some soul-searching deepness or an incredibly catchy song, collabs are some of the most popular videos on YouTube. Here at TenEighty, we’ve decided to gather up our favourite five to share with you all!
5. The Bothering | Chris & Jenny Bingham
Starting off our list is a collab between brother and sister duo Chris and Jenny Bingham. To be honest, we’re not entirely sure what’s going on, but we found ourselves falling to the floor with laughter.
We love these two and definitely think they should collaborate more. They’re absolutely hilarious.
4. Real Life TFIOS | Dottie Martin & Patty Walters
Show of hands: who else can’t watch a video featuring Dottie Martin and Patty Walters without getting an insane amount of Pottie feels?
Patty and Dottie always manage to make pretty awesome videos together and Real Life TFIOS is just another example of this. They get pretty real and talk about things most of us are too nervous or scared to bring up, and it makes for some really insightful commentary.
It even ends with the deepest thing we think anyone’s ever said: “I want Doritos”. No truer words were ever spoken.
3. Tipsy Talk | Hazel Hayes & Jack Howard
Everyone loves Hazel Hayes‘ Tipsy Talk Sober Speaking series and who better to join Hazel for an episode than Jack Howard.
This video always manages to make us laugh and for more than a few reasons (well, mainly one). Not only are we treated to a drunken voice message from Hazel to Jack, but we also get some pretty deep conversation about careers and what they wanted to be when they grew up.
Watch the video, have a few laughs and leave with some pretty deep thoughts. You know, everything you’d typically get from a Hazel Hayes video.
2. Becca Meets Alfie | Becca Hodgekins & Alfie Deyes
Let’s be honest, Becca Hodgekins is everyone’s favourite YouTuber. We mean, how could she not be?! Not only is she super #relatable, but she’s living the dream: meeting all our favourite creators. In this video she meets the one and only Alfie Deyes and, of course, hilarity ensues.
We don’t want to give too much away because that totally wouldn’t be the Becca Hodgekins way of doing things, so we’ll say this: be prepared for exploding ovaries, duck faces and much, much more. #BALFIE4EVER
1. What Have We Done? | Tim Hautekiet
Topping our list is what we like to call the ultimate YouTube collab: Tim Hautekiet‘s What Have We Done? Not only does it feature one insanely catchy song, but it features a helluva lot of YouTubers (and we do mean a lot).
Within its nine minutes, you’ll see everyone from Bertie Gilbert to Liam Dryden, Lucy Evenden to Ben Cook. Literally, this video is UK YouTuber gold and you’d be hard pressed to find someone who isn’t featured.
On top of involving a crazy amount of your favourite creators, the video is brilliantly done, as is the track. If you’re like us, you simply become obsessed, so be warned: once you start watching, you might find yourself hitting “repeat” over and over again. We’re so obsessed with it that we included it in our 2014 Yearly Round-Up and we’re still talking about it.
So there you go…
Five of the Best: Big Collaborations. We hope you enjoyed watching them as much as we did. Which YouTubers would you like to see join forces for a video? Be sure to shoot us a tweet letting us know.
