Emma Blackery has helped launch an anti-smoking campaign for Cancer Research UK.
In a video posted on SBTV, Emma encourages viewers to stand up to the tobacco industry and post a selfie to pledge their support.
Cancer Research UK claims “the tobacco industry needs to recruit 100,000 new smokers to replace the 100,000 smokers that die every year” to keep making a profit.
Emma told TenEighty: “I believe in the freedom of choice, but the way that the tobacco industry actually recruits people to go to bars and nightclubs to offer non-smokers cigarettes is disgusting.”
“I don’t believe any industry should be profiting from damaging the lives of their consumers,” she said.
Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams also appears in the video.
