Capital FM has launched a competition giving listeners the chance to win work experience with Doug Armstrong.
The radio station’s website says: “We’ve teamed up with LifeSkills to give you the chance to win a week’s work experience with YouTube vlogger Doug Armstrong.”
The competition winner will spend time with Doug at the offices of Base79, the YouTube network that manages his channel.
Doug told TenEighty: “The winner will join me for a week… they will be spending time helping me work on various aspects of my YouTube channel.”
He said: “We’ve all at some point been through the struggle of finding work, so it’s great to be able to help someone get their foot in the door.”
The winner will also get to attend the UK’s biggest YouTube gathering Summer in the City.
Doug told TenEighty: “I imagine it will be similar to last year where I helped setup the venue, welcomed and checked-in YouTubers and guests as they arrived… the winner will join me and assist.”
The competition is open to teenagers aged between 14 and 19. Entrants have to upload a creative selfie to the Capital FM website.
