The fundraiser is set to occur on 19 June.
Melanin Gamers have announced they’ll be holding a fundraising live stream, in support of Imperial Health Charity, which supports the five Imperial NHS hospitals – St. Mary’s, Hammersmith, Western Eye, Queen Charlottes & Chelsea, and Charing Cross – through fundraising, grants, arts and volunteering measures.

The live stream is set to occur for 24 hours, and will see a host of Twitch streamers taking part, including creativelylanzy, YayaLovesAnime, CartmanZ_ZNoobis, DollarYen, Agent Triple A and itsDandyitsDandy.
The games to be played include Overwatch, Kingdom Hearts and Apex Legends, with discussions about sickle-cell anemia occurring throughout the stream.
Melanin Gamers was founded by creativelylanzy and “is a gaming community that promotes inclusion and diversity in the video games industry”. It is known for highlighting streamers of colour who are helping to make the online gaming sphere a more diverse and welcoming place for all.
The group is hosting the fundraiser through JustGiving, with the goal being to reach £300.
