Facebook have not yet announced when the feature will launch in other countries.
Posting an update on his Facebook page, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said: “We’re making sending and receiving money as easy as sharing photos.
“We’re also enabling small businesses to make sales right within WhatsApp.”

The option sees the social media company build upon its Facebook Pay tool, launched in November to simplify payments across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Mark added. “I want to thank all of our partners for making this possible. We’re working with local banks, including Banco do Brasil, Nubank, Sicredi as well as Cielo, the leading payments processor for merchants in Brazil.”
He concluded by saying that more information about payments within WhatsApp will come soon.
