Creators answering fans assumptions is a trend that’s been around for a while now. However, within the past month, a new type of assumptions video has been making the circuit: the “Quick Fire Assumptions” trend. The challenge sees YouTubers answering openly and as honestly as they can, as quickly as they can, to numerous fans assumptions. Typically done within a 10-minute time frame, they are not allowed to edit out any parts of the challenge, adding to the intensity of the answers.

We’ve fallen into a rabbit hole of these videos, so we felt it was about time we shared some of our favourites. Here they are, our Five of the Best: Quick Fire Assumptions!

What better what to start this list than with the creator of the challenge himself! Byron Denton created this challenge back in April to spice up the original assumptions video, and it’s safe to say this trend has certainly caught on since. Starting off with questions about his YouTube income and awkward sexual encounters, it’s clear that nothing’s being held back with his answers.

Even though this was uploaded only a month ago, the challenge has become a growing trend with YouTubers. Byron’s honesty and rapid fire answers have made for something that we can only see becoming more and more popular.

Answering your Assumptions about me | Helen Anderson

One thing about Helen Anderson is that she is already very open and honest in her videos, so it’s interesting to see how much more honest she can be. That’s the beauty of this quick fire assumptions challenge—no matter how open you already are, it forces you to be so in new ways.

Helen’s video is a prime example. She even starts with pouring a glass of Prosecco! Fitting perfectly on brand, she then goes into answering questions about smoking, body insecurities, sexuality and even questions about her divorce.

I HAVE To Answer EVERYTHING!! | Demi Donnelly

A lot of Demi Donnelly‘s content centres round money, whether she is trying out expensive products or doing a Poundland haul, so it’s no surprise that a lot of her questions are money-centred. She’s incredibly honest as she answers ones about her monthly income and if she’s only in this job for the money!

The questions also span a lot of her personal life, her family, her partner and if she’s had any pregnancy scares.

You just know an assumptions video will be good when the YouTuber asks their family to not watch the video, which is exactly what Lewys Ball did at the start of his.

He’s able to answer his questions with humour and absolutely no pausing in-between, and his answers are quick, open and raw. Starting with his political stance and only getting more personal as the video goes on, he’s able to laugh about all the serious questions and make it one of the most enjoyable quick fire assumptions videos to watch.

HAVE To Answer EVERYTHING! | Jordan Houston

Only Jordan Houston could make this type of video whilst in a hot tub, but it weirdly works. Jordan’s quick fire attitude is perfect for this type of video, answering without any hesitation.

The very first question is about how much money he made from his Ruby Rube TRICKED YOU! video. He’s also open about what he spends his money on, as well as his views on the social climbers.
