The Bare & Klare Show promises “surreal and fun escapism”.
Alex Cubb, better known as Scaredy Kat from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, has launched a series on YouTube with his partner, Remi May. Titled The Bare & Klare Show, it’s a “campy, kitsch and absurdist” that’s show described as “creepy Blue Peter, meets Eurotrash, meets 80s horror”.
The series is comprised of six episodes, which are presented in two, 15-minute long videos.
The duo play “magical stoner bears” named Bare and Klare, who aim to guide humans through lockdown with their comedy. The series explores themes of isolation and art, with commentary on modern society, social media and the environment.
Fans are able to get involved in the series by submitting their art, with Alex tweeting out a call-to-action, asking them to send some in.
