The palette sold out within less than 20 minutes.
Jeffree Star has announced that his new Cremated makeup palette has officially sold out on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website.
Sharing in a tweet, Jeffree wrote:
“The #Cremated Palette has SOLD OUT in under 20 minutes! What the f**k! We had a massive amount of stock and I’m truly shook right now! THANK YOU!”
The palette launched on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website at 10am PST, along with the entire Cremated collection and a re-stock of Jeffree’s collaboration with fellow YouTuber Shane Dawson.
It features 24 new eyeshadow shades that range in colour from black and white, to grey and brown, and retails for $58. It was released alongside lip glosses, new makeup bags, Cremated-themed metal straws and a new liquid lipstick.

Jeffree had previously shared that the palette’s release had been postponed from its initial release date of April 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement had received mixed reviews, with some sharing their excitement and others commenting on the timing, saying it was insensitive due to the pandemic and the associated loss of life. When many suggested that Jeffree further postpone the palette, he responded by saying it wasn’t possible and that a delay would push its release to 2021, when the makeup would be expired.
After these reactions were made public, fans jumped to Jeffree’s defence, citing that the trademark for Cremated had been filed in September 2019, months before the COVID-19 outbreak.
Upon its release, many took to Twitter to share their excitement over having purchased the palette:
