Fans & YouTubers React to Release of KSI’s New Album, Dissimulation

Dissimulation was released on 22 May.

KSI has officially released his new album, Dissimulation, which features a host of tracks and collaborations with the likes of Offset, Rick Ross and Swarmz, amongst others.

Upon the album dropping on iTunes, Spotify and other music platforms, many took to Twitter to share their reactions, which have been overwhelmingly positive.

Many of KSI’s fellow YouTubers shared their thoughts with their followers, urging them to give the album a listen.

Joshua Bradley shared a screenshot of many creators listening to Dissimulation, while Craig Thompson wrote:

“Love it when hard-working people get the crown they deserve.”

KSI shared on Twitter that the album had received more than 105 million streams, a number that continues to rise, as the album has only been live for less than a day.

In the lead-up to the release of Dissimulation, many commented on how KSI was releasing the album on the same day that The 1975 were releasing their own, with many speculating on how both would fair on the official charts.

Upon its release, Dissimulation made it to the top of the iTunes UK chart. As of publishing, it sits as the number one album, just one spot above The 1975’s Notes On A Conditional Form.

If there’s one thing the release of Dissimulation shows, it’s that KSI isn’t letting the coronavirus pandemic stop him from showing both the internet and the mainstream world that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
