Tubefilter is reporting that Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar‘s podcast, Zane and Heath: Unfiltered, has signed to Rooster Teeth‘s podcast network, The Roost.
Under the new deal, The Roost will manage audio distribution and sales for the duo, in relation to their podcast. It also works to organise merchandise, live events and content development.
In a statement to Tubefilter, Alan Abdine, Rooster Teeth’s SVP of Sales and Development, said:
“Zane and Heath represent the best of the podcasting and YouTube world, and are exactly what we look for in a Roost partner. Their honest, authentic approach to content creation and community engagement enables us to leverage all of what Rooster Teeth does best and has learned over 17 years as a community-focused brand.”
The Roost provides distribution and other services to over 70 series, including both owned-and-operated property and that produced by third-parties, including podcasts from Philip DeFranco, Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart.
The partnership is the amongst the latest for Rooster Teeth, which recently announced it would be teaming up with The Yogscast, in a deal that sees many of the UK-based entertainment company’s series featuring on the Rooster Teeth website.
