A host of YouTube’s most popular beauty influencers came together for a virtual Get Ready With Me fundraising video.
James Charles has brought together seven creators from within YouTube’s beauty community to help film a video in support of the World Health Organization‘s COVID-19 Solidarity Relief Fund.
The virtual Get Ready With Me collaboration was done following social distancing guidelines, with each creator filming their segments in their own homes.
The collaboration features appearances from Nikkie de Jager, Patrick Starrr, Nikita Dragun, Mykie of Glam&Gore, Manny Gutierrez, Bretman Rock and Louie Castro.
Each person featured in the video showed viewers one step of their beauty routine, from foundation, all the way to applying lipstick. During each segment, the creators shared what they’ve been up to whilst under lockdown.
Speaking in the video, James shared how he and the other beauty gurus wanted to help raise money for COVID-19 relief, and stated that he himself has personally donated $25,000:
“As beauty gurus and YouTubers, we are incredibly lucky and grateful to still be able to do our jobs during this really awful global pandemic, and we know that, unfortunately, that is not the case for everybody else. We’re all super, super grateful for all of you guys watching us and supporting us on a daily basis.
“Because this video was so special today, to say thank you for supporting us, we wanted to do our part as YouTubers and support people who have been affected by the virus and COVID-19 relief.”
RT to be the next video's sister shoutout!
