The announcement was made on 6 May.
Alex Clark has announced he’s teaming up with Studio71 to release a tabletop game called Sugar Heist.
The game centres around players collecting, trading and stealing “candy card”, with the object being to have the most cards by the end. Players can “use battle cards to unleash […] pint-sized cutesy terrors – smash, bite, claw, or tickle your way to sweet victory”.
To help develop the game, Alex has partnered with writer Zach Craley, who has worked on such shows as Heroes Reborn and Avengers Assemble.
Currently, the pair are gauging audience interest via their email list. Those who sign up will receive two bonus metallic battle cards, which won’t be available in the retail version of the game.
A Kickstarter to help fund Sugar Heist is set to launch toward the end of the month.
