The music streaming service is launching original live programming every week from 6 May 2020.
The first show will be Studio Sessions with Soulection and will feature Joe Kay, Founder of Soulection, going through tracks on the website in order to uncover tracks from emerging creators.
Other shows set to stream include Fresh Pressed, which will feature SoundCloud’s most popular tracks, and Cloud Bar, which will bring music industry experts together for discussions about journalism, live shows and marketing.
Confirmed guests for Cloud Bar are CAA agents Zach Iser and Caroline Yim; Roger Gengo, founder of Masked Gorilla; and rapper and producer Vic Mensa.
Finally, the show Fast Track will feature “rising beat makers”, who will showcase their skills in real time, while Player One will feature artists playing video games.
The first episode of Studio Sessions with Soulection is set to take place at 2pm EST on 6 May. Those wishing to tune in can do so via SoundCloud’s official Twitch channel.
