For International Dance Day, Matt Steffanina hosted #MoveWithMe, a YouTube Original showcasing some of the platform’s most popular choreographers and creators, in the aid of COVID-19 relief.
Hosted by YouTube Originals, the global event brought creatives together, including Chachi Gonzales, Dominic “D-Trix” Sandoval, Kaelynn “KK” Gobert-Harris, Laurieann Gibson, Sonali Bhadauria, Twist And Pulse and Vale Merino, amongst others.
Matt assigned the music the dancers performed to, and each dance included breakdowns for aspiring viewers.
The special came to a close with a performance to Dua Lipa’s Physical, which featured clips from viewers and surprise appearances from Alyson Stoner, Ceraadi, Jerry Harris, Nic Sioux and Todrick Hall.
Wiewers were also encouraged to donate to the World Health Organization‘s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
“Today’s show is dedicated to those on the frontlines, working day and night to help keep us safe”, Matt states in the introduction. “Because, together, we can all make a difference”.
