Without You was released on 22 April.
Tana Mongeau first hinted that a new single was in the works during a holiday live show she held in December 2019. Fans were later given a sneak peek at the official studio version during an episode of her No Filter show on MTV.

Without You is the first single Tana has debuted in 2020 and is her first release since her May 2019 single, Facetime.
Speaking about the song on Twitter, Tana said:
“I genuinely feel this song is unlike anything I’ve ever released. Thank [you] for allowing me to make art [out of] my feelings.”
Upon its release, #WithoutYou began trending worldwide on Twitter. It also made appearances on various iTunes charts.
