Cameo, a website where you can buy shout outs from influencers and celebrities, is hosting a streaming event to support Coronavirus relief funds.
Cameo Cares will be a three day event running from 16th-18th April 2020. Currently celebrity guests include Fiona the Hippo, Tony Hawk, Melissa Joan Hart and Kate Flannery.

As well as this there are ‘Creator Convos’ set to take place at 2:45pm on April 16th, whilst the participants are yet to be announced, it is a place to “Get to know popular influencers, creators, and makers of today and tomorrow.” You can find the full event schedule and register to attend here.
For all Cameos booked over the three day extravaganza Cameo is donating it’s usual 25% cut directly to charities assisting with the Coronavirus crisis. Additionally, many of the celebrities booked for the event are making their own donations.
Cameo hopes to raise $1 million over the course of the three days and these will be split between four charities: The WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, No Kid Hungry, The Actors Fund, MusiCares and the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.
“Dozens of favourite concerts, shows, TV programs, and other entertainment have been cancelled to help protect the population during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Cameo co-founder and CEO Steven Galanis said in a statement. “Cameo Cares provides a safe, fun alternative, while helping charities serving those in need.”
