The YouTuber released the masks amidst the current coronavirus pandemic.
Logan Paul released the initial batch of 30,000 non-medical grade masks via his Maverick Clothing company on 10 April.
In a tweet, Logan shared that his clothing company had “pivoted production” after spending the past year rebranding and produced “Maverick CoronaVirus Prevention Masks”, which were available for free.

Along with the launch of the masks, Logan also shared that he would be sending $1,000 to 10 individuals who placed an order, stating he knows “everyone is struggling to make ends meet”.
The masks sold out within three hours, with mixed reactions coming in from those on Twitter. One user pointed out that, while the masks themselves were free, they were subject to a shipping fees which equalled up to $25 for international orders.

According to the official Maverick Clothing website, more masks are currently in production. Those interested in receiving updates can sign up for the company’s official mailing list.
