The move is part of the site’s #StayHome campaign.
Starting 8 April, YouTube granted subscription-free access to a selection of its original content, which was previously behind the paywall of YouTube Premium. For a limited time, the site is allowing viewers to watch the shows for free without ads.

Speaking about the move, YouTube’s Global Head of Original Content, Susanne Daniels, said:
“As people cope with a more limited way of life, we remain committed to lifting people’s spirits during these challenging times. With a diverse collection of fan favourite YouTube Originals now available to stream for free, we are continuing to promote safety while offering our users of all ages entertainment across the globe.”

Currently, those YouTube Original shows that are available for streaming include all four seasons of Joey Graceffa‘s Escape the Night, The Sidemen Show, Overthinking with Kat & June, and both seasons of Impulse, amongst others.
YouTube has shared that more original series will be available for free in the coming weeks, including We Are Savvy, Hyperlinked, Fruit Ninja Frenzy Force and Kings of Atlantis.
