Happy Easter!
It’s finally that time of the year when it’s absolutely acceptable to overdose on Mini Eggs on Easter morning and fall into a food comma for the rest of the day – and, as we all know, nothing is as delicious as seasonal candies because you can only enjoy them once a year. Despite the gloomy state of the world right now, we’re here to brighten the day with our choice for YouTube’s five best Easter videos: 2020 edition.
Without further chit-chat, we’ll let you enjoy the videos we’ve picked while we enjoy a Creme Egg. (Or two, or three… We’re not counting.)
I ONLY ate easter food for 24 hours! | Saffron Barker
When it comes to devouring Easter food, it looks like Saffron Barker is one step ahead of all of us!
Mini Eggs, easter bunny crumpets and hot cross buns? We can only dream that our diet looked like this every single day. Alas, that would definitely take away part of the pleasure of being able to eat them only at a certain time of the year, but it still sounds pretty good. We also wish we looked as good as Saffron after consuming industrial amounts of chocolate this Sunday, but that’s not likely to happen either.
BROTHERS MAKE THE CRAZIEST EASTER EGG FILLINGS | Oli White
We’ve all thought, “What if Creme Eggs were a lot bigger?” or “What if we had eggs filled with Maltesers and Chocolate Orange?” Oli White shares our train of thought and is here to show us what dreams are made of. (Quite literally.)
Who knew it was so easy to get a hollow chocolate egg and fill it with all your dream toppings? Oli and his brother gave us some amazing ideas, but we’ve come up with a few of our own. How about cookies and cream? Or Jaffa Cake jelly? Maybe peanut butter cup filling? Perhaps a whole ice cream sundae? We have a lot more, but we’re sure you can come up with even better combinations.
Ultimate White Creme Egg Brownie! | In The Pan
Looks like Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg have more talents than just dancing! They unleash their inner chefs to serve us this deliciously exquisite white Creme Egg brownie.
This gravity defying chocolate dream creation looks like something straight out of a baking show and definitely wowed us all. And the genius idea of using white chocolate Creme Eggs instead of the regular ones? Absolutely mouth-watering! We don’t know about you, but we’ll definitely be stealing this recipe to try it ourselves.
Taste testing the ULTIMATE Vegan Easter eggs | Extra Grack
Who said you have to miss out on Easter eggs if you’re vegan? With the variety of chocolate eggs at the supermarkets, turns out there is something for everyone. But how do you know which are the good eggs?
Well, Grace Booth has given herself the hard task of doing the ultimate vegan Easter eggs taste test, something we here at TenEighty HQ absolutely support and would a thousand per cent try ourselves if we weren’t so busy providing fresh content for you. Anyway, we have to thank Grace for taking one for the team and also enlightening us with the fact that there’s so many flavours of vegan chocolate eggs out there.
Easter Homemade Hot Cross Buns Recipe | SORTEDfood
Easter without hot cross buns is like Christmas without Christmas pudding- unimaginable. Sure, you can buy hot cross buns all year round, but it’s a different experience having them on Easter, especially if you bake them yourself.
SORTEDFood have you sorted (pun intended) with the recipe for the perfect hot cross buns. You’ll be surprised to find out they’re actually easier to bake than you would’ve expected. If you’re feeling bold, you can even step out of the box a little bit and try different bun shapes. The guys from SORTEDFood have settled on some yummy-looking bunny buns, but we reckon you could pull off chick buns, cross hot cross buns, maybe a basket hot cross bun for all your hot cross buns… The opportunities are endless!
So there you have it…
