The release of Eat, Gay, Love has been delayed until 9 July.
The release of his memoir, which is being published by Hodder & Stoughton, was announced in early March by Calum McSwiggan via his Twitter account. It’s postponement is the result of the current global situation surrounding COVID-19.
My first book is now available for preorder! ❤️ Eat, Gay, Love tells the story of the time I spent living & working abroad, and celebrates the lives of the extraordinary LGBT+ people I met around the globe. Eat, Gay, Love takes a look at Calum’s travels, starting in the spring of 2012, and the LGBTQ+ people he met along the way. Through these interactions, he was able to learn just how far the community spans and, according to Amazon, the stories shared help to shine a light on the queer experience:
“Their individual stories, not only of hardship and sorrow but also of profound strength and hope, show the breadth and depth of queer life and experience, shedding light on themes such as homophobia, sexual violence, marriage equality and gender identity.”
A little update for all those who were kind enough to preorder my first book – unfortunately due to the current situation we’ve had to postpone the release until July. It’s still available to order, it’ll just take a little longer to get to you. Thank you for your patience ❤️
