The fight was stopped after one round with Jake winning by technical knock-out.
The match took place at the Meridian in Miami and came after a month of trash-talking between the two YouTubers.
In a post-fight interview, Jake said: “Y’all said that this was my best competitor, he’s undefeated […] he’s ‘The Beast from the Middle East’, but I silenced him in one round.
“I didn’t even get to showcase my real boxing ability, but it was all natural instinct in there as soon as we started.”
It follows claims that Jake was ‘scared’ to fight AnEsonGib, with KSI saying at a press conference for his rematch against brother Logan last year that the UK YouTuber is the “one guy you keep ducking and diving”.
Responding by holding up a whiteboard, Jake Paul said: “Who the fuck is that?”
The fight was later confirmed at the end of December, just over a month after Logan lost his second match against KSI.
Speaking at the first press conference for the fight, Jake said that Gib was a “doormat” to him.
“He’s merely something I’m wiping my shoes on, on the path to avenge my brother. My brother lost because of a two-point deduction, it was a controversial win for KSI, but KSI got the win.
“After I beat Gib, KSI is going to get the smoke. KSI has already said he’s down, so to me, that’s where it’s naturally all going,” he said.
Meanwhile, AnEsonGib told Sky Sports before their bout that Jake “wasn’t in control of his opponent” for the event.
“He won’t be in control of the fight, so I think that type of pressure will eat him a little bit. For me, I thrive there.”
However, the match ended after two minutes and eighteen seconds of fighting, with Jake winning by TKO.
Following his win, the boxer confirmed that “KSI is next”, adding that he was going to have to “win back those two points” which were deducted from Logan in his fight against KSI.
The two YouTubers went on to confront each other in the ring, with KSI telling Jake Paul to “just wait”.
A fight between Jake Paul and KSI is yet to be confirmed.
