TikTok’s Top Trending: 6 – 12 January 2020

A new years means new viral TikTok videos.

If there was one app to take over the social media landscape in 2019, it is definitely TikTok. The app, which many have compared to the now-defunct Vine (RIP), has seemingly itself gone viral, with everyone from your regular, every day person to celebrities and television characters making an account. Even our favourite YouTube creators are giving it a shot, using it to spread their voice beyond the site’s walls. It’s been pretty interesting to watch and it just further solidifies our notion that online video is bigger (and better) than ever!

This past week saw some pretty awesome videos being uploaded to TikTok. From some insane slope action to the troubles of taking the perfect photo, we were pretty mesmerised by what we were watching.

We’re honestly just sat here with our mouths open, wondering how the heck Jon Sallinen and co. managed to pull off such a mind-blowing jump! We were impressed simply watching them ski hand-in-hand without wiping out, but that jump was just out of this world!

Anyone who’s tried to apply eyeliner knows how difficult it is to either a) get the line to look good or b) have both eyes match. We’ve tried every trick in the book and still our makeup looks fall short. Thankfully, Georgie Clarke has shared with us this sneaky trick, so our eyeliner will always look on fleek! (Is that still a thing?)
