There’s just something about art that we’re obsessed with!
Over the past few years, Chloe Rose has been blessing our timelines and subscription boxes with some incredible masterpieces. From Disney-themed paintings to the absolute cutest of animals, there’s never been a time where we haven’t been wowed by the art she’s produced. That’s why we felt it was about time we recognised how talented she is.
Here they are, the eight times Chloe Rose’s art blew us away!
She painted how many films?
We’re not just constantly impressed with Chloe’s incredible art style, but also at the ways in which she challenges herself. We’re not going to lie, it gives us a whole new level of respect and appreciation for her art. This video featuring every single Pixar film represents one such challenge, from Brave and Monsters Inc., to Ratatouille. We love this painting, and watching it come together was such a pleasant way to spend three minutes.
Inktober
Every October, our Instagram feeds blow up with all types of art. While each piece managed to catch our attention, we felt this one by Chloe really stood out. Her first time creating an ink painting gave us this eerie depiction of the house from the film, Psycho. As is often the case with Chloe’s art, it’s the little details that we love, like the silhouette we can make out through the window.
YouTube Collective for Endangered Animals
This piece makes us pretty emotional. With only 1,000 grizzly bears left in the United States, Chloe decided to create this painting as part of the YouTube Collective for Endangered Animals. The clear Winnie the Pooh inspiration brings such brightness to a piece that represents such an important, and in many ways upsetting, issue.
YouTube Draws YouTube
Some stunning digital art, this portrait of Laura Brouwers brings us endless joy. The bright background brings out the many features of this painting, from the details in the face to the many shades of light in Laura’s hair. For a quick piece that Chloe explicitly states she could improve for hours, we are blown away by the detail presented by a quick study.
Imagination
Another beautiful piece of digital art. This setting is completely from Chloe’s own imagination and features Wall-E and Star Wars‘ BB8. We don’t know about you, but we love a space scene. The fairy lights bring something original to such a beautiful scene, and the addition of some beloved characters makes this piece incredibly moving to us.
Speedy scenery
If you’ve never wound down after a long day by watching a speed paint, then, sorry, we can’t relate. This particular painting of a stunning pond scene is no exception – we just love watching the paints come together! There’s something so relaxing about seeing vague colours form an image in such a rapid way. We dare you to watch this and not feel a little better!
Digital Inktober
Digital art is largely underused during Inktober, so it was great to see this piece. In an attempt to build her illustrative storytelling, Chloe worked on her digital art during Inktober 2018 with impressive results. This particular piece has such a serene feel to it. We aren’t sure whether it’s the lovely night sky or the resting bear, but we know it’s making our lives more peaceful just knowing it exists.
When she drew dodie
If you’re not a fan of dodie at this point, then, honestly, where have you been?
Videos showing the process of digital art like this are something we can’t get enough of. Chloe’s use of colour creates such a realistic image that it’s almost as if dodie is actually in the video with her. What else can we say? We’re always so astounded by Chloe’s talent.
So there you have it…
Eight times we were completely blown away by Chloe Rose’s art. Whether it’s portraits of other YouTubers, stunning scenery or our favourite characters, Chloe continues to regularly impress us with her art. If only we had her talent! (Who knows, maybe she’ll give us some tips.)
