Winter in the City is only a few days away!
We can’t wait to see what type of YouTuber-related hijinks everyone gets up to. Who are you most excited to meet? Are you planning on attending any panels? We have quite a few plans, but we don’t want to spoil anything. We mean, we are a magazine after all. We need you to keep checking back in for all the articles we’ll be writing about the goings on this weekend.
To help hold you over until Saturday and Sunday, we thought we’d get down to business and publish another edition of Tweets of the Week. Sure, it might only take you a few minutes to read over the article, but the laughs it’ll induce will last all the way until the weekend. So what are we waiting for? Let’s jump into it!
Nature is evil
Thought it’d be cute to take a candlelit treetop bath and listen to the south african thunderstorm last night. It was not cute, I got attacked by a swarm of about 40,000 insects and almost died as I panicked and frantically tried to climb out of the bath 😂

This is why we never go outside, Calum McSwiggan. Whether it’s nasty bugs or severe weather, the world is always trying to kill you.
We knead a new joke
I genuinely think this is the funniest joke I’ve ever written. If you don’t like it, I’m sorry, but this is as good as it gets. pic.twitter.com/Es1ttC2IZu
— Jonny Vickers (@jonnyvickers) November 19, 2019
It looks like Jonny Vickers is on a roll when it comes to jokes. We knead to know how much dough he’s getting paid to tell these zingers!
A magical secret
I think it's about time I told you guys this…. pic.twitter.com/0Xqi3IYlXU
— JAMIE JO (@BananaJamana) November 20, 2019
We always had a feeling there was something Jamie Jo wasn’t telling us, but we never guessed it was this! However, now that we think about it, we guess the black cat should have been a dead giveaway…
Which are you?
Some are born great,
Some achieve greatness,
And some sneeze whilst eating sushi and nearly choke in the middle of Heathrow airport— Chloe Dungate (@ScarfDemon) November 20, 2019
Tag yourself: we’re the person who sneezes whilst eating sushi and nearly chokes in the middle of Heathrow Airport. We have a feeling Chloe Dungate is in the same boat.
When you finally learn how to cook
Always so proud of myself when I make something that doesn't just taste like fajitas 😂
— Alex Bertie (@Alex_Bertie) November 20, 2019
One of the hallmarks of becoming an adult is learning how to make food that’s actually edible. We’re very proud of you, Alex Bertie. We’re still trying to learn how to cook without burning everything.
This happens every night
one more youtube video and then i’ll go to bed
…
ok no, one more
…
no really, one more and then i’ll go
…
oh but this one looks good
…
right one more and then i’ll go to b-— gabriella ✨ (@velvetgh0st) November 25, 2019
We know we should go to bed at a reasonable hour, Gabriella Lindley, but how can we when there’s so many videos on YouTube? Who needs sleep when you can watch 30 minutes of animal fails?
“So what do you do for a living?”
Next time an Uber driver asks me what I do for work, I'm just going to show them this. pic.twitter.com/qtL0Dxa0SA

We mean, it does sound better than “YouTuber”, Sean McLoughlin.
The figurines we never knew we wanted (or existed)
Excuse me while I spend my entire life savings trying to collect a full set of .. ‘dog bird’ figurines pic.twitter.com/6kv51daEQd
— Phil Lester (@AmazingPhil) November 21, 2019
We don’t know why these are a thing, Phil Lester, but we need ALL of them. We don’t know why, we just do.
This really makes you think
ukuleles are just pop funko guitars
— BERTIE GILBERT (@bertieglbrt) November 19, 2019
The more we think about this, the more we feel Bertie Gilbert is 100% right.
Time to jump ship
There's a lot of sharks on the train this morning. pic.twitter.com/woNycT6CA5
— Eddie Bowley (@Eddache_) November 19, 2019
We don’t know about you, Eddie Bowley, but this looks like the next sequel to Sharknado.
So there you have it…
