Based on John Green‘s 2005 Young Adult novel, Looking for Alaska stars Kristine Froseth, Charlie Plummer, Denny Love, Jay Lee, Landry Bender, Sofia Vassilieva, Uriah Shelton and Jordan Connor.
It tells the story of Miles Halter – a teenager obsessed with the last words of famous people – as he enrols at a boarding school, finds new loyal friends and falls for a girl named Alaska Young. After an unexpected tragedy, Miles and his friends attempt to make sense of what they’ve been through.
The eight-part series will be out in the UK on 19 October – just a day after the US premiere. All episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer.
