Daniel Hardcastle has revealed that Fuck Yeah: Video Games will be released on 19 September, with a UK book tour taking place next month.
Described as “a love letter to the greatest hobby in the world”, Fuck Yeah, Video Games explores the positive encounters Dan (also known as NerdCubed) has experienced through his gaming past, with jokes, stories and illustrations.
Announced in June 2018, the book became the fastest Unbound project to reach its initial record in under 45 minutes.
As well as news of a release date, Dan has also announced a UK book tour to take place in September across a variety of Waterstones and Forbidden Planet book stores.
The tour dates are as follows:
- Sunday 15 September, 12:30pm – Waterstones Edinburgh West End
- Monday 16 September, 4pm – Forbidden Planet Newcastle
- Tuesday 17 September, 4pm – Waterstones York
- Wednesday 18 September, 4pm – Waterstones Manchester Arndale
- Thursday 19 September, 4pm – Forbidden Planet Birmingham
- Friday 20 September, 4pm – Forbidden Planet Bristol
- Saturday 21 September, 4pm – Forbidden Planet London
Entry is free, however a copy of the book is required, which can be signed by Dan at the event.
Copies are available to pre-order online, with signed pre-orders also available.
