YouTubers Do The Face App Challenge

Aging can be a pretty scary thing.

Not only does it mean we get old and wrinkly, but there’s also the fact that we’re even closer to death’s door and that’s just no fun. However, that doesn’t prevent us from wondering what we’ll look like when we’re seniors. Will be have flowing silver hair or will it be puffy and white? Or worse, will we be bald?! The horror!

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait until we’re in our sixties and seventies to find out. Thanks to the magic of Face App, we are able to take a glimpse into the future and see what we’ll look like down the road. And it appears we aren’t the only ones taking advantage of this. Our fave YouTubers have been taking part in what’s called the Face App Challenge, and we’ve decided to round-up a few of our fave images.

Let’s jump into it!

The music of our generation

We’ve been wondering how Emma Blackery will possibly follow up her widely popular Villains album and now we know. We’re looking forward to hearing such hits as Turn Off That Racket and Back In My Day.

Old Saint Nick?

Is it just us or does a senior Eddie Bowley look like a Santa Claus who’s celebrated one too many Christmases? Get some sleep, old Saint Nick!

Gotta pay that rent

Lia Hatzakis is keeping it real with this one. Even when we’re retired, us Millennials are going to have to hustle to make ends meet, which is pretty worrying, if you ask us. Thanks, Baby Boomers!

The next Doctor

We’re sure we’re not the only ones to point this out, but does anyone else think Jack Howard could pass as Christopher Eccleston’s twin?

What an adorable couple

Melanie Murphy and Thomas are going to be couples goals, even when they’re in their eighties.

It’s all in the family

One of the best things to come out of this challenge is seeing how so many users look like their parents or grandparents when they’re aged, like Daniel Middleton. It’s kind of eerie, but also pretty cool!

You can get younger too

Our faves aren’t just using the app to see how they’ll look when they’re older, they’re also using it as a time machine of sorts and revisiting how they looked back in their younger years. Our conclusion from this image of Gary C? He doesn’t age! We wish we had his genes.

How can we ensure we look like this?

Not that we’re trying to suck up or anything, but we think an older Liam Dryden could either be a retired rockstar or a man who spends his free time posing for Ancient Greek-style sculptures. Don’t ask us why we think this, we just do.

Smile

We’re honestly offended that Adam Waithe isn’t smiling in this picture he took while at Disney. At least we know he’ll finally realize how magical a place it is in his older years. Just look at that smile in the second image!

What a great sugar daddy

We’ve always known that Roly West is the fountain of enteral youth.

Also, can we talk about how scarily accurate these photos are of Calum McSwiggan? We know he’s currently in denial, but he’ll eventually come around.

So there you have it…

How our fave YouTubers are participating in the Face App Challenge! If you ask us, they shouldn’t fear aging at all. If this app is anything to go by, then they’re all going to be pretty good looking. Here’s hoping we look the same when we’re in our seventies!
