The YouTuber has been dropped from the company following multiple allegations of harassment.
Matthew Meredith, known as Caff, has been accused of sexually exploiting female members of his moderation team, as well as a number of female viewers. Matthew’s moderation team received eight reports from women concerning his behaviour.
In a statement made on Matthew’s Discord server, moderator might_claw wrote that there is “corroborated and proven evidence that Caff has been abusing his position as a content creator for at least the past 3 years to pursue sexual relationships with those he has power and influence over using his position as a point of coercion and control.”
The moderator added that he had frequently suggested that the mod team hire women, which the team now believe was “to gain additional access to these members in a closer environment to be able to more easily groom them for his sexual motivations.”
The moderation team for a content creator just came out with pretty big news. We cared so much and worked with this person for years, even calling them a friend, it breaks my heart. If anyone needs support or has anything, we are here for you.

The Discord moderation team has reportedly received statements from at least eight individuals, whose identity has been kept private. The entire moderation team for Matthew’s Discord server has quit, stating: “we cannot stand complicit in support of Caff”.
Yogscast CEO Mark Turpin addressed the allegations in a statement posted on Reddit, confirming that Caff has breached the company’s code of conduct and his relationship with the network has been terminated.
“We have removed his channels from our YouTube CMS and have requested Twitch remove his channels from association with the Yogscast,” Mark wrote. “He is no longer part of the Yogscast collective.”
Matthew has not responded to the allegations and his termination from Yogscast as of yet. His Twitch and YouTube channels are still online, despite no longer being affiliated with his former network. He has also been removed from the guest list of YogCon, which is taking place on 3-4 August 2019.
