YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN!
SO many great things have happened this June. There has been a great deal of love and support shared among friends and communities allowing people to open up about their true self, find (or at least begin to journey to) self-acceptance, and find love in all forms. So let’s end June on a high and spread some more love.
On with the round-up!
Coming Out To You | AmazingPhil
Everybody who’s been on YouTube longer than five minutes will know this YouTube veteran. He has been making videos since 2006! But there is one secret this dark haired creator has kept this whole time, HE IS GINGER. Now his pale complexion makes sense…
In all seriousness though, this video is in perfect Phil Lester style. It’s preppy, happy, and really just leaves you with a smile on your face and feeling just a bit better about this terrifying world.
Phil makes the important point that once you first come out, you never stop coming out. And while it may feel endless and there are nerves following each one, the world is gradually becoming a better place. You just need to embrace the people who accept you and for the people who don’t, you don’t need them.
Belle Delphine EYE TRACKER Challenge (Ft. My Girlfriend) |WillNE
Will Lenney and his girlfriend, Mia, have started a weird new challenge with some technology that we find a bit freaky. The tech they used was pretty self-explanatory, an eye tracker. We don’t know how it does it but we are scared but highly amused at the result it gave.
To add to this, the pair put on some suggestive videos that included scenes that make your eyes trail. To do this on the internet is brae anyway but to do this next to your partner… This is trouble waiting to happen.
Perhaps the best part of this video is when they roped in Will’s friend, Alex Elmslie. That’ll make for an awkward next encounter
How to Stop People Pleasing | Cinzia DuBois
“When you feel like you don’t belong, when you feel like you’re an outcast, you gain this core identity, this core belief that you are an inherently a bad person and no one will ever like you.”
Cinzia DuBois talks about the effects childhood trauma can have on us later in life. Even when we are far away from the school bullies who once mocked us, we still have them in the back of our head making us try to shape ourselves to please everyone.
But she teaches us that although it may be scary we must try to be who we really are. If not to just have others respect us but to respect ourselves. How is the world meant to really know us if we hide behind a fabricated life?
Positive Sex Ed Changes in My Lifetime | Hannah Witton
Everyone’s favourite sex and relationship YouTuber, Hannah Witton, is back to discuss the changes to sex education in school that have happened in her lifetime. Sex education in school is immensely important. It’s most people’s first interaction into the world of understanding their own bodies.
While sex ed still may be lacking in some areas, in the last few decades there have been great strides. It is becoming more open and more inclusive to all which is immensely important to teach children when they are just trying to find themselves.
The Most Ridiculously British Invention of All Time | Half-Asleep Chris
Half-Asleep Chris is one of the most quintessential British person there is. Everything about his videos screams I AM BRITISH. So it’s no surprise that it is his video that’s educating us on this very British invention.
While tea may not originated from Britain, we have (like many things) claimed it as our own. SO when the British army was forbidden from shaving their mainly upper lip, how ever were they to drink a good cuppa? Clearly, the only solution was to invent a special moustache cup. Ahh, Britain.

vexedcer has been taking part in veju (video every day in June) this month in a very creative way. Each video has shown off Cer’s skills in different ways. Poems have been a big feature of the month and their poem ‘bocal Cords’ is just one of our many favourites.
Leena Normington talks all things books and the publishing industry in this Q&A video in the aim to make the industry more transparent to consumers.
Need some very important, life-changing advice? Maybe don’t listen to anything that is said by Daniel J. Layton then… He is the definition of chaotic good. Just please don’t follow anyone home, Dan.
Summer is here and it’s the perfect time to stretch out in the sun (while it’s here) and pull out a book. The Anna Edit gives us some great new reading recommendations along with some must-have beauty products too!
