Fundraisers for the charity are still ongoing.
Louis Cole, Alfie Deyes and Dave Erasmus recently participated in Regenerate‘s PaddlesandSaddles charity kayaking run, which saw them and numerous others kayaking the the whole of the Thames River, all the way to the North Sea.
The endeavour saw the group start their journey in Cricklade and travel 215 to the Southend Pier, passing through such cities as Oxford, Westminster, Windsor, Putney and Reading. It took a total of 10 days to complete, comprising of eight total hours each day of kayaking.
The three creators have shared their experiences via YouTube, with each uploading their own video series regarding it. They have also all launched fundraisers via JustGiving and have each surpassed their initial targets. Dave’s fundraiser currently sits at £604, while Alfie has raised £2631 and Louis, £1314.
Regenerate is a community-based charity that works with young people and their families within the Roehampton and Putney estates. They offer activities, including sports, music, leadership development and games, as well as safe spaces for those living in an area that is currently experiencing high levels of poverty, addiction and violence.
