Let’s jump into it!
Visiting My Favourite London Museums. | booksandquills
One of the main things we love about being in London is how much access we have to museums. There are so many within and around the city, each with its own subject matter, and you can just feel each one oozing with history the minute you step in. That’s why we simply had to include this video from Sanne Vliegenthart, where she discusses her favourite museums.
What we love most about this video is how Sanne blends footage of her time at the museums with her own thoughts regarding what she likes most about each. We loved having a sneak peek at the museums we have yet to visit, as well as getting to revisit some of our regular haunts, and you can bet we’ve made a list of ones we need to check out the next time we get a few days off from work.
SKETCHIEST ROOFTOP LEDGE CHALLENGE | Nightscape
We’re constantly blown away (and a little concerned) by the death-defying tricks Harry Gallagher and his friends are able to pull off in their videos, and this time is no exception. While travelling Asia, the group participate in some incredible water diving, jump over some roofs and scare the living daylights out of us by walking along a roof ledge that would literally leave us dizzy.
As well, what we love about this video (and all the rest of Harry’s uploads) are the scenic shots he gets of the places he visits. It’s almost as if he’s a travel vlogger on the side, and he often leaves us itching to board a plane and explore the world!
If Disney Princesses Sung Pop Songs | Connie Glynn
If you’ve ever wondered what your favourite pop songs would sound like if they were sung by Disney princesses, then you’re not alone. The UK’s reigning queen of impressions, Connie Glynn, has also thought about this, so much so that she’s recorded a video to give us an idea of what we might expect them to sound like.
From Alice performing Paramore’s Hard Times to Rapunzel singing some old-school Katy Perry, it’s safe to say we know exactly just what we’re in for the next time we’re at Disney and the princesses decide to break character and perform some modern-day tunes… Actually, now that we’ve said it, this is something we need to experience ASAP.
Attempting To Kayak ENTIRE Country With ZERO Training! | FunForLouis
Kayaking across the whole of the UK. Seems like bit of a trek, doesn’t it? Honestly, just thinking about it has us breaking into a sweat and feeling achy all over. That’s exactly what Louis Cole, Alfie Deyes and numerous others did in support of charity, and this video is the first of three Louis will be uploading regarding the experience.
Now, we know Louis is pretty skilled at a lot of things, but even he was the first to admit he might have some issues, given he’s not trained in long distance kayaking. However, we will say that he did pretty well. At least, much better than we would have done. If there’s one thing we’re taking away from this video, it’s that this is definitely the best way to see the country. The scenery is breathtaking!
10 BOOK TROPES I HATE | a beautiful chaos of books
If you’re a bookworm or have dabbled in casual reading, then you’ve definitely developed some opinions on what aspects you like about the books you read, as well as what you hate. For this video from Nicole Woodward, we’re going to be focusing on the tropes we hate, either because we find they’re far too commonly seen in literature, or because we simply find them boring to read about.
From love triangles (ugh!) and characters instantly falling in love with each other, to parents being non-existent and poor communication, we’d say Nicole’s put together a pretty solid list of everything both she and, let’s be honest, the majority of readers hate about some of the books they come across. We’re down for these things to be sprinkled in here and there, but given how often we come across them… Well, let’s just say we’re glad someone has finally expressed how we feel!
You know the drill – time for four more!
There’s something comforting about hearing someone discuss their art, which is why we had to include this video from Minnie Small. Hearing her talk about the creative process and her thoughts regarding painting the dragonfruit is so calming.
Gary C and Adam Hattan have brought their Random Chat podcast back for a second episode! What are they discussing this time around? We’ll let the computer decide that!
Is there a better way to celebrating graduating from university than taking a trip to Paris? That’s exactly what Em Barker does in this super aesthetically pleasing travel vlog.
Hannah Witton is starting a new series on her channel to discover more about herself, and she’s kicking things off with a DNA test! We can’t wait to see the rest of the videos in the series.
