Summer is just around the corner.
You know what that means: a whole lot of fun! We’re already starting to plan out our day trips to the beach, budgeting for the amount of ice lollies we’ll surely be buying and planning out cute outfits to wear on our walks around the park. If you ask us, summer is the best season around (minus the scorching heat) and we’ll take any excuse to celebrate it. It appears as though our favourite YouTubers feel the same way, as many of them have created videos dedicated to the season and all it has to offer.

You know what summer means: sweat. It’s not the most pleasant of scents and it’s certainly not what you want to be smelling of. That’s why we’ve included this video from Robin James, so you can mask that smell with something a bit more inviting.
In this video, Robin offers up 10 different products to choose from, all of which he feels are perfect for summer 2019. Each has a fresh scent that’s sure to make you feel ready for the day ahead, as well as clean and confident, which is all you could possibly want, right? They’re also all bound to last throughout the day, which is important when the sun is beaming down, making us feel like we’re about to melt. Thanks for the suggestions, Robin!
Summers & Heat in the UK | Luvie
It’s no secret that we here in the UK aren’t the best when it comes to dealing with heat. As we’re used to cloudy days and rain, we aren’t too sure what to do when the sun shines and the temperatures rise, and no one explains this better than Lucy of CandyEvie.
As Lucy explains, the majority of people in the UK don’t own air conditioners and, as such, have to rely on fans in order to keep cool. Unfortunately, these don’t always do the trick and there’s only so much time you can spend in front of a fan before you get bored and want to do something else. As well, we’re pretty fragile when it comes to sun exposure and we often burn, even if we use suncream. (It’s so unfair!)
Given all this, we’re definitely planning on trying some of the tips Lucy offers up regarding how to deal with the heat. Time to stock up on lots of ice!

If you’re like us, then your daily routine changes when summer roles around. Gone are the days where you coop yourself up at home and watch Netflix until it gets dark. Summer means longer days, warm weather and lots of outdoor activities to participate in!
In this video, Maddie Bruce shares with us a day in her life during the summer! She and her friends head to Bournemouth for a day at the beach and we couldn’t be more jealous! Not only is the weather absolutely gorgeous, but the water looks so inviting! Honestly, this video has us longing for summer to actually start, so we can spend endless days out with our friends.
Making My Summer Capsule Wardrobe | The Anna Edit
Summertime means it’s time to switch out the heavy and long-sleeved clothes that made up our winter and spring-themed closets with some items that pop with colour and don’t retain as much heat. In order to do this, many people create a capsule wardrobe to see them through the season, including Anna Newton.
In this video, Anna shares with us the staple items that will be making up her summer capsule wardrobe, and it’s left us feeling some major style envy! From her easy to slip on shoes, to her dresses and jumpsuits, we have a feeling Anna is going to be looking pretty stylish this summer, and she’s given us some major inspo for our own wardrobes!

As we explained earlier in the article, last year’s heatwave was definitely not a fun one. In fact, it was pretty much torture. You couldn’t go outside without feeling as if you were melting, and sleeping? Ha, not in those temperatures! When it ended, we were so relieved, and we have Lucia Keskin to thank for that.
Lucia expresses the sentiments of every single British person in this video and if you think we’re joking, we aren’t. You couldn’t go anywhere without hearing complaints about the heat. If we had known all we needed to do was film a rant video to make it disappear, we would have done that at the start, not toward the end, like Lucia. At least we know what to do if it happens again this year.
