Who else is experiencing major FOMO after missing the Spice Girls perform at Wembley last week?
Ugh, we would have given ANYTHING to have been able to attend the concert and show everyone just how much love we have for our all-time favourite girl group. We would have been front and centre, belting out each song as if we were onstage ourselves and showing everyone that we’re the biggest Spice Girl fans around. Sadly, we weren’t able to attend, so we instead stayed home, drowned our sorrows in a tub of ice cream and cried into a pillow as we watched Spice World for what felt like the thousandth time.
If you did happen to be one of the lucky ones to attend the show, then you might have missed some of the awesome videos our faves uploaded to YouTube. But fear not! We’ve climbed out of our FOMO and curated a list of the ones we feel you simply can’t miss, so, without further ado, let’s jump into this week’s Round-Up!
10 Things ALL Guys Should Stop Doing By Age 20 | Nayf
We remember being 20 years old. We were just entering the adult world and were extremely nervous about how our naïve, university minds would manage. Well, here we are years later and we’d say we’re doing pretty well. However, we do wish we’d known what habits to form (or drop) in order to achieve our current success, which is why we’re highlighting this video from Nayf Divak.
In this video, Nayf spells out 10 things he feels all guys should stop doing by the age of 20, and while he specifically targets males, we feel these tips are applicable to everyone. From him urging us to realise that we need to gain our knowledge from more than just the standard education system, to his somewhat obvious (but not really) tip to stop hanging around with bad influences, this list is a surefire way to ensure your 20s are successful, as well as fun and productive!
(We highly recommend showing this video to that friend of yours who still excessively sprays himself with deodorant… You know who we’re talking about.)
WE HAD A BABY! | Lily Pebbles
This past April, Lily Pebbles gave birth to a gorgeous little girl, Grey. Mum and baby appear to be doing well, which we’re super happy to hear, and we’re not going to lie, we think she might be the cutest baby we’ve ever seen – we just want to pinch her cheeks!
As this is Lily’s first child, everything that comes with raising one is new to her, so we’re glad to see she has support from both husband Rich and those in her life. In this video, both she and Rich talk about the first month with Grey, from the challenges Lily experienced when it came to feeding to the knowledge that Rich is pretty much dead to the world between 12am and 4am. (Good to know!) All and all, we’re glad baby and mum are doing well, and we can’t wait to watch Grey grow up into a young woman.
I BAKED YOU A PIE (with Chloë Dungate) #CONTENT | DarkSquidge
In case you were unaware, we have an unhealthy obsession with Chloe Dungate and Tom Ridgewell‘s friendship. We also have an even unhealthier obsession with asdfmovie. That’s why we had to include this video, which combines the two in a glorious (and we mean glorious) way.
A pie in a pie? That can’t possibly be edible, right? Well… You might be on to something. But we’re giving Chloe and Tom the benefit of the doubt, especially since they’re using already-made piecrust and not one made from scratch. We won’t say anything else, as we don’t want to spoil the video, but let’s just say it was certainly an adventure.
Song Association Game ! | Mimi Missfit
We love a good challenge, especially one that involves music, so you can bet we were totally down to participate in the Song Association Challenge with Mimi Missfit. (Even if we can’t sing for the life of us…)
If you’re looking for a fun video to watch, this is definitely the one. You might think at first that it’d be easy to think up a song lyric based on a single word, but under pressure you’d be dead wrong. Your mind blanks, and you’re left wondering if you are actually the big music fan you claim to be. Unlike us, Mimi totally aced this challenge, not only sharing with us her pipes (we don’t know why she thinks she can’t sing), but her killer music knowledge. Damn, this girl knows a lot of tracks!
Transgender & Non Binary? Meet Jake Edwards | Friend Jamie
Can you be both transgender and non-binary? Yes! Jamie Rutter recently sat down with Jake Edwards to talk about his transition and share any advice for viewers who might identify similarly to Jake.
There are so many points we want to touch upon in regards to this video, but that would mean we’d be here all day. Therefore, we’ll hit on two main things we feel are the most important: 1) Always make sure to point out what you like about yourself, as it’s common for people to self-neglect and/or bring themselves down, and 2) take the advice Jake would give to his younger self and try not to stress. It’ll only work to hurt you and your mental health, so remember to take each day as it comes and try to keep an optimistic outlook on what will happen in the future.
You know we can’t stop at just five…
In celebration of Pride Month, Celeste Madden shared with us six reasons why she’s proud to be bisexual, and we couldn’t agree with them more!
Everyone is obsessed with Keanu Reeves at the moment (and for good reason, as he’s a sweetheart), so it only makes sense that Felix Kjellberg would react to some of our favourite Keanu memes. Now, when can we expect Keanu to host an episode of Meme Review?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard Billie Eilish’s single, Bad Guy. Well, prepare to look at it in a whole new way with this parody by Philip Green!
We’ve always wanted to do a solo trip somewhere, but have never quite decided on where to go. After watching this travel vlog from Erin Doogan, we think Ireland might be the country to visit!
