Everyone is so fashionable.
We’ll admit, we aren’t the most adventurous when it comes to our wardrobe. While we try to branch out of our regular every once and while, for the most part we tend to stick with our typical t-shirt and jeans combo. Now, there’s nothing wrong with that, but we do find ourselves wishing we were a bit more risky and outgoing with our fashion choices. That’s why we live vicariously through our favourite YouTubers. They’re a pretty fashionable group, and through stalking their Instagram accounts and YouTube channels, we’ve come across many outfits we’d love to try ourselves.
Someone whose fashion we love is Lucy Moon! Lucy’s classic style is something of our dreams and we are constantly looking forward to seeing her latest shopping finds and outfit ideas. In fact, we love her style so much that we decided to dedicate an entire article to it. Here they are, the 10 times Lucy have us some major style envy!
Summertime
This outfit screams summer and you can bet we’ll be rocking something similar when the temperatures decide to officially stay within the low to mid 20s. A short-sleeve t-shirt paired with a skirtall is definitely the way to go if you want to look cute, yet don’t want to die of heatstroke.
It’s definitely one of our all-time favourite Lucy Moon looks.
Simple, yet stylish
We love this look simply because of how simple it is to put together. Just by grabbing a turtleneck, a pair of black jeans and a winter coat, Lucy was able to put together something that looks like it took much longer to style, and that’s the type of fashion we love! (As little effort as possible is the way to go, are we right?)
What’s the best way to style a tee?
Sure, you can wear a plain, old t-shirt without styling it, but why would you want to do that? In this video, Lucy offers up some quick and easy tips on how to take that boring tee and make it into something fashionable. From tucking it in to some high-waisted jeans to pairing them with some culottes trousers for a more classy look, there’s so many styling options to try!
Ready for a night on the town

Now THIS is a fun look for a night out on the town! This floral black dress is absolutely gorgeous. We love how flow-y it is and it looks to be super light, ensuring we won’t die of heat (or drown in sweat) when out with some friends. What’s more, it’s fancy enough that you can wear it the next time you’re invited to a super swanky dinner party. You know, the type that serves hors d’oeuvres and prosecco.
Neutral is best
For the most part, we all have some neutral pieces in our wardrobe that we keep handy. They go together with most everything, from crazy patterns to bright colours, and they help us to look professional when we need to be. However, oftentimes we don’t think to do a completely neutral outfit. That is, until we saw this video on Lucy’s channel.
For an entire week, Lucy decided to just wear neutral outfits and gave us oodles of ideas to try ourselves. Out of all the outfits she wore, we’d have to say our favourite would definitely be her sweater and jumpsuit combo! Not only are we getting major 1970s vibes (which we’re LOVING), but it’s definitely not something we’d think up on our own.
So. Cozy.
We seriously cannot get enough of this look! While we might be leaving the cold, winter weather behind for some gorgeous sun and heat, we simply couldn’t omit this from our list. We don’t think we’ve ever seen an outfit that screams cozy and warm like this one. The oversized scarf, the winter coat, the only thing missing is a cup of hot chocolate in Lucy’s hands!
A timeless look
Who doesn’t love a good turtleneck, especially one that’s striped? Now, pair it with some dungarees and you’re all set! It’s such a simple look to pull off, and the best thing is it never goes out of style!
Her capsule wardrobes are to die for
Some brilliant videos that have become somewhat of a staple on Lucy’s channel are her capsule wardrobes. The whole point of capsule wardrobes is to collect the basics of clothing that fit your style and are timeless, then add unique pieces that go with each season, and Lucy has pretty much mastered the art of getting the right balance.
While we could have chosen any video for this section, we decided to highlight the capsule wardrobe Lucy built for autumn 2018. We love the variety of outfits and pieces she’s included, with our ultimate favourite being the black, high-waisted skirt. Oftentimes, we find skirts either don’t fit us around the waist or are a weird shape, but this one looks to be just what we’re looking for!
A comfy jumper is a must
If you’ve stalked Lucy’s Instagram, then odds are you’ve seen this jumper make an appearance in a few of her posts, and it’s no surprise she’s worn it so much! Does anyone else think it looks incredibly comfy? This is definitely something we could see ourselves picking up and wearing until it was all worn and tatty.
The best thing about this jumper is the colour. The off-white wool ensures you can pair it with anything: a coat overtop, some dark-coloured trousers. The opportunities are endless!
We’re taking a trip back in time
Is anyone else totally getting 1990s vibes from this outfit? The soft, high neck jumper and baggy trousers – we are LIVING for this look! The one thing we love about fashion in the 1990s is how everyone dressed comfy and Lucy is definitely radiating that with this outfit.

10 times Lucy Moon gave us total style envy! We’re not going to lie, writing up this article has made us want to do a complete wardrobe overhaul. Thankfully, Lucy recently recommended a few thrift shops for us to check out – anyone up for a shopping trip?
