You hear that? It’s the sound of the summer holidays calling your name. Psych! The school term isn’t over just yet.
If you’re a university student, then odds are you’re currently knee-deep in end-of-the-year essays and prep for your final exams. And if you’re in secondary school or college, then you know these things are just around the corner. We know firsthand that it’s a stressful time of year, which is why we’re happy you’ve taken time out of your busy schedule to read TenEighty! Even if you’re not in school, you can still appreciate all these wonderful creators have to offer. Their ability to be productive and their tips are things that can be applied to pretty much every aspect of life. So sit down, grab a notebook and learn about the 10 StudyTubers you NEED to check out. (Like, stat!)
Ruby Granger
We’re kicking things off with Ruby Granger, whose channel is a mixture of study techniques and a look into her life as a first year student. We find ourselves constantly gravitating toward Ruby’s videos and we feel you will too once you watch a few of them.
Whether you’re looking for tips on how to become more organised (we can all do with being a bit more orderly) or you’re simply wondering what it’s really like being a student, Ruby has got the content for you. She also gets personal with her viewers, having shared numerous videos about her experiences with bullying and how she rose above it to become the person she is today. We appreciate how open she is with her audience and we feel that’s allowed us to form a connection with her and her videos.
Lydia Violeta
From mock up exams to tips on how to study for every subject under the sun, Lydia Violeta‘s channel has got it all. Seriously, we wish we were as organised as this girl!
We first stumbled upon Lydia’s channel last year and since then have been wishing we’d had her videos while we were in secondary school. Her methods and tips would have saved us a world of stress, and the way she writes out her notes is heavenly. Seriously, is there such thing as StudyTube goals because she might be it. As well, she’s also got tons of non-StudyTube-related videos on her channel for those moments when you need a break from studying. Anyone interested in some GRWM content?
Ibz Mo
If you’ve delved into the world of StudyTube, then you definitely know Ibrahim Mohammed. If you ask us, he’s single-handedly saving YouTube and bringing back the content we’ve always known and loved. Big praise, we know, but he has the videos to prove it. (We might be a little obsessed with his channel.)
Ibz is very close to graduating from university, where he’s pursued a psychology degree, so you can bet his videos are filled with everything a student needs to live their best life. Blending useful information with comedy, his channel is essentially the holy grail of StudyTube. If you’re looking for recommendations, we highly suggest watching his 5 ITEMS THAT ALL STUDENTS FORGET TO BRING FOR UNIVERSITY and Christmas Gift Guide for BROKE STUDENTS. Also, he’s collabed with quite a few of StudyTube’s top creators, so you know he’s good.
UnJaded Jade
Jade Bowler‘s channel is here to offer up everything you need to make sure you’re getting the marks you want while also ensuring your mental health doesn’t suffer in the process. One tip to ensure this? Take regular breaks.
Before heading into the world of university education, Jade is taking a gap year and experiencing all the world has to offer, by travelling around Europe and backpacking around Australia! (SO jealous.) However, that hasn’t changed the focus of her channel, as she’s still uploading videos surrounding being productive and studying. She also offers up her honest reactions to many of the experiences students face during their time in education, including not getting into the university of your choice and receiving your GCSE results. We really appreciate these sorts of videos and we hope Jade continues to make them!
ThisIsMani
Is it just us or do a vast majority of StudyTubers attend Oxford University? That obviously means they’re super smart and thus we should be taking in as much of their advice as possible, and one creator who’s dishing out oodles of study knowledge is Maninder Sachdeva, better known as ThisIsMani.
Mani is a second year Computer Scientist at Oxford and his channel is filled to the brim with the tips and tricks he uses to make the most out of his time at university. Through his numerous Study With Me videos, we’re given a glance at how he goes through his notes and picks out the pertinent information, and through his vlogs we get a sneak peek at his life as a student. What’s more, he even has videos dedicated to different facets of student life, such as internships and self-care.
lucrezia chloe
Lucrezia Chloe is a small StudyTuber you NEED to be subscribed to. This girl is steadily making a name for herself within the YouTube sphere and with a channel like hers, it’s no surprise as to why!
Lucrezia’s channel covers everything from school to veganism, and the content we find ourselves drawn to is definitely her Study With Me video series. Back when we were in school, we were always on the hunt for more efficient and productive ways to study, so you can bet we wish Lucrezia’s channel was around back then. Sadly, it wasn’t, and that’s why we’re introducing her to you all now: so you can harness her tips and become study pros! The best part? Once you’re done studying, you can try your hand at one of the many incredible dishes she’s shared. Delicious fruity oatmeal, anyone?
Eve Bennett
University, university, university. Depending on how you view it, it can be either the best years of your life or the most stressful. For most, it’s a little bit of both, but it’s difficult to find YouTubers who offer you the brutal, honest truth about what it’s really like. That’s why we’re huge fans of Eve Bennett.
Eve is currently a student at Oxford University (yes, she’s super smart) and her channel offers us a glimpse of her life at the school. While her older videos from her younger years are more geared toward revision and achieving the ideal studying routine (we highly suggest watching her HOW TO PLAN YOUR REVISION OVER THE EASTER HOLIDAYS! video), her latest ones focus around her time at university. From giving us a look into how Freshers Week really is to giving us her opinions on whether or not university is actually worth it, Eve’s channel is a must-watch for any StudyTube fan.
Evie Flynn
Looking to kill your GCSE? Then look no further than Evie Flynn‘s channel! This 16-year-old student extraordinaire is here to give you some tips and tricks to get the marks you want.
Evie advertises her channel as “Vlogs. Revision. Life” and that’s exactly what she’s serving. Those looking for something a bit more academic can find just what they need in her numerous revision and productivity videos. (Such inspiration!) If you’re looking for videos about her day-to-day life, then we highly suggest her new Week In The Life Of An A Level Student series, which is a nice and refreshing twist on the weekly vlog genre. Between all that, she offers up some casual and chill content, making her channel the perfect place to visit when you’re both studying and relaxing.
Jack Edwards
Jack Edwards is an English Literature student who’s here to give you an honest view on what university life is really like. While he does upload videos pertaining to productivity and studying, what we love most about his channel is the information he offers to his viewers, based on his own experiences. Oftentimes, what he covers are things he wishes he’d known when starting university, most of which we agree with. If we’d known all this during our first year, our time at school would have been a million times easier.
Along with the above video, one we highly suggest watching would be EXAM SELF-CARE TIPS. While making sure you’re setting enough time aside to study is important, you also need to remember to put yourself and your mental health first, and that’s where Jack’s self-care tips come in!
Miss Varz
We’re closing this article out with Varaidzo Kativhu, better known as Miss Varz. Her channel is filled to the brim with content anyone in university can appreciate. Looking for some much-needed study tips to help save your grades? She’s got your back. Curious about what university is really like? Her Uni Talks series has got you covered. Seriously, her channel’s got it all and she isn’t afraid to get brutally honest when necessary.
As well, Varaidzo allows viewers a glimpse into her life with a series we consider a must-watch: her Uni Vlogs videos. It’s definitely the one for you if you’re the type of person who loves daily or weekly vlogs! (Which we totally know you are.)
So there you have it…
