A lot can happen in the span of 15 seconds.

You can like a couple of Instagram posts. You can send out a hilarious tweet. You can take the perfect selfie. Or, if you’re looking for something entertaining to do, you could watch the latest TikTok video to go viral. Whether you’ve been aware of them or not, there are numerous creators on the app who have gained large followings as a result of their ability to make hilarious and creative videos that run 15 seconds in length. As such, we felt it was time we started to highlight some of these videos, so that those of you who haven’t yet delved into the world of TikTok can discover what you’ve been missing.

He just can’t wait to be king

Sure, we’ve all seen The Lion King, but what if was reimagined with dogs – adorable dachshunds, to be exact. In this video, we see @cheddarandchester showing off their acting skills by embracing their inner lion. The adorable mane costume paired with the slow-motion effects and the intro to The Circle of Life definitely have us wanting to see this remake made ASAP.

Star Wars truth LEAKED!

Unless you’ve been living in a bubble (or have avoided classic sci-fi cinema at all costs), then you’ll know that Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker’s father. It’s by far one of the reveals in film history, but there’s something that’s always bothered us: who is Luke’s mother? Sure, the directors have led us to believe it’s Padmé Amidala, but how can we be 100% sure?

Thank goodness for @OTB, so has shown us who Luke’s mother actually is. (She’s definitely not who we were expecting.)

My NEW MOVE!!!

It’s not secret that we here at TenEighty HQ aren’t the most sporty of people, so it’s pretty easy to impress us with trick shots and fancy moves. However, we guarantee Liv Cooke‘s latest football move will impress even the sportiest of viewers.

Liv, we’re absolutely blown away by how easily you were able to do this. Would you be up for giving us a few pointers?

Koala

We all remember when planking was a thing, and not too long ago we were dabbing our hearts out. Well, we think we’ve discovered the next big fad and that’s koala-ing. As Nick Robertson and Philip Green show, it’s pretty simple. You just grab a friend and hold onto them like a koala to a tree. Just make sure the friend you pick is pretty sturdy, or else you both could tumble to the ground.

Did I fool you?

For a second there, we thought Nick really was leaning against the Eiffel Tower! PSYCH! It’s actually an optical illusion, accomplished with some precise camera work and the use of depth. This is a trick we’ve seen tons of our fave creators try their hand at and we always love the results!
