The actress and YouTuber won the award for her performance as Veronica Sawyer in Heathers: The Musical.
Accepting her award at the ceremony, which celebrates UK theatre, Carrie said: “Well f**k me gently with a chainsaw…
“Thank you to the fans of Heathers… I wasn’t the Veronica people expected but thank you for giving me the chance to wear the blue blazer.”

The musician also performed I Say No from the show at the event, which took place at the Prince of Wales Theatre near Leicester Square.
The WhatsOnStage Awards also saw the production take home the award for Best New Musical, and Heathers producer Paul Taylor-Mills confirm that the show will be returning, with Mills saying “we will be doing it again”.
“It will go to London before it goes out on tour. We don’t know when but it will be back,” he said.
An official date is yet to be announced, and it has not been confirmed whether Carrie will return to play the role of Veronica Sawyer.
