The YouTuber and activist is part of the LGBTQ+ section in Resisters: 52 Young Women Making Herstory Right Now.
Ellen shared her excitement on Twitter after her inclusion was pointed out by SpeakersCollective, a network for social activists that she’s a member of.

The book features the stories of 52 young female influencers who are making a difference to society, whether it is by campaigning for current issues, or by working in science, conservation and diversity.
Ellen has taken part in many panels and talks on topics such as LGBTQ+ issues, gender equality, mental health, autism and digital activism, as well as appearing on The Guilty Feminist podcast and MTV Breaks.
This is her latest achievement, after winning the MTV EMA Generation Change award in 2018 and the Stonewall Award for Young Campaigner of the Year in 2017.
Resisters is written by Lauren Sharkey and illustrated by Manjit Tapp. It’s available to purchase from Amazon and Waterstones.
