Savannah Brown Announces 30-Day Poetry Challenge

Savannah is inviting you to get involved in her latest poetry project.

Savannah has shared that she will be hosting a 30-day poetry challenge, encouraging her followers to “escape reality every day in April”.

okay! here are the official #escapril “rules.” tag a friend who you want to participate with you! 💐 if a poem every day isn’t realistic for you, you’re welcome to adjust output — though i encourage you to challenge yourself, as you might be surprised by how much you can accomplish. 💐 prompts will be coming on march 1st to allow time for brainstorming. the prompts are only intended as a starting points and can be interpreted in any way you want — that being said, you don’t have to follow any of them, or you can follow some and not others. whatever is most conducive to your success. 💐 i hope to feature poems from participants throughout the month — but know that i’m not a judge, it’s not a contest and there are no winners! i won’t be able to read every single poem so i can’t even ‘judge’ fairly in that sense either. the focus should primarily be on your growth as a writer, and connecting with and supporting other participants! 💐 that’s it! i’m so excited! let me know in the comments below if you have any questions. #escapril2019

Savannah explains that this project “will be a great yearly thing to bring writers together” and that “the focus should primarily be on your growth as a writer, and connecting with and supporting other participants”.

Writers are encouraged to join in and share their completed works online with the hashtags #Escapril and #Escapril2019.

Throughout the month, Savannah will be selecting poems to feature on the official Escapril Instagram and Twitter accounts.
