Giovanna is taking part in the trek organised by CoppaFeel! and Fabulous Magazine.
The trek will take place from 25 October to 2 November. It’s the seventh Fabulous Challenge organised by the magazine to raise money for CoppaFeel!. Giovanna shared the news on Instagram, saying she’s “thrilled to be a part of it”.
CoppaFeel! is a breast cancer awareness charity. It aims to give everyone a fair chance at beating breast cancer by campaigning in schools, universities, workplaces and festivals and encouraging people to check themselves regularly for signs of the disease.
The last six Fabulous Challenges have raised a total of £850,000 for the charity. This year’s challenge will celebrate the CoppaFeel!’s 10th birthday, and Fabulous aims to reach £1 million to mark this milestone. A total of 100 trekkers will fly to Delhi from where they will take on a 50-mile hike across the Himalayas.
Giovanna is a Fabulous Challenge veteran. She trekked through Oman in 2017, raising more than £18,000. Her husband Tom also took part in the charity expedition last year when he raised over £10,000 trekking through Transylvania.
