The organisation (founded by fans of the franchise) aims to “turn fans in to heroes” and “change the world by making activism accessible through the power of story”.
Hannah expressed her excitement on Facebook: “This year for my birthday I want to do something I’ve been thinking and dreaming about for a long time: watch all 8 Harry Potter films back to back ⚡ and we’ll also be raising money for The Harry Potter Alliance and all the amazing activist work they do.”
Hannah is inviting her fans to express their support through donations or hosting their own event. Timings of her movie marathon will be streamed on social media throughout the weekend.
