Time to sort our lives out!
We like to think we’re organised human beings here at TenEighty, but there’s always room for improvement, and who better to turn to than our favourite YouTubers! Many of them juggle busy work schedules, social lives and often hustling all on their own. If they can’t teach us a thing a thing or two about how to organise our lives, we’re pretty sure no one can.
Here they are, our Five of the Best: Organisation Station!
A Day In The Life: 2019 Planning & Organisation | The Anna Edit
A Five of the Best series on organisation would not be complete without tips from the queen of organisation herself, Anna Newton. Her videos are littered with ways to help streamline your life, from your wardrobe to handy travel PDFs, so you can tick off items you need for your upcoming holidays.
In this particular vlog, Anna takes us through a typical day in her life, showing us how she plans for the year ahead, through the use of journals, content-planning and to-do lists, and she even introduces us to worksheets we can download straight from her website. Handy and efficient, eh?
How To Organise Your Life | Lucy Moon
An oldie, but a goodie. Our two faves, Lucy Moon and Hannah Witton, teach us the importance of finding organisational tips and tricks that work for YOU. We mean, how are you going to stick with things if they’re impractical for your own life?
Hannah, being the more organised of the two, gives Lucy and, in turn, us an insight into how she manages her time and projects. Think calendars, apps, and methods. You’ll want a notebook to write down everything she mentions in this video.
HOW I STAY ORGANISED & MOTIVATED | Brogan Tate
Having spent years juggling a full time job alongside a successful YouTube channel, Brogan Tate is the queen of organisation. Here, she shares the little things she does to stay put together, such as making her bed, along with some apps she’s found to be useful when trying to keep on top of deadlines and meetings.
We love how passionate Brogan is about the planners, apps and little bits and pieces she shares with us. If her smile is anything to go by, we need to grab them all, stat.
Top 5 Organisational Tools | Stationery & Apps | Jean Bookishthoughts
Who else is better to grab advice from when it comes to organisational tools and stationery than Jean Menzies? Having done a PhD, working full time and managing regular uploads, you better believe we want to use whatever she is. Fun fact, there are a couple of apps very familiar to us here at TenEighty in her recommendations.
What we like most about this video is that her tools are a good mix of digital and manual, something many of us struggle to find.
12 TIPS FOR A CLEAN AND TIDY HOME | GET YOUR HOUSE ORGANISED | Kate Murnane
One can’t be fully organised without having their home in tip-top shape, which is why we’re glad Kate Murnane is here to offer up 12 stellar tips on how to get our houses and flats clean and tidy. (We’ve been needing this video for a while.)
As Kate mentions, working in a clean house allows her head to become that much clearer, and these tips ensure just that. Some of them seem pretty obvious, such as making sure everything you own has a place, but others are ones we hadn’t previously thought of, such as making a small list of chores to tackle each day. You can bet we’ll be setting all these tips into action once we get home!
Words by Nafisah and Clare Fitzgerald.
So there you have it…
Our Five of the Best: Organisation Station! We love a bit of organisation here at TenEighty and we hope this inspires you to get planning! Who knows, after watching these videos you might end up becoming an organisation wiz!
